PERRIS, California (March 13, 2017) — Driver James Flack, of Sun City, suffered major injuries this morning when his pickup truck overturned after it was struck broadside by another motorist who allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign in the 2600 block of San Jacinto Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The crash took place about 5:43 a.m. this morning. The Perris Police Department responded to the crash site where they say driver Alicia Kilson allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign and crashed her silver Chevrolet Cruze into Flack’s silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The pickup truck overturned multiple times after the violent crash. Flack became trapped inside his truck and had to be extricated by Riverside County firefighters. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The Perris woman who allegedly caused the collision suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Perris Police Department’s Traffic Reconstruction Unit’s Deputy Lareau at the Perris Sheriff’s Station, (951) 210-1000.
