At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Collision on Sonny Bono Memorial Freeway Sunday
Cathedral City, CA (April 25, 2021) – A traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 10 resulted in injuries to a pedestrian Sunday evening, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a black truck and two other vehicles collided in the eastbound side of I-10, also known as Sonny Bono Memorial Freeway. The force from the impact caused the black truck to veer off the traffic lanes. The black truck eventually slammed against the center divider.
The car crash took place near the Date Palm Exit in Cathedral City.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and discovered a pedestrian involved in the wreck.
Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to all possible victims, including the pedestrian. The California Highway Patrol log later confirmed the collision resulted in major injuries. However, additional details on the crash have not been revealed thus far.
Several factors surrounding the collision remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car and pedestrian accident in Cathedral City.
