
2 Injured in Cathedral City Crash Near Landau and Ramon
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (February 28, 2023) – Two were hospitalized after a crash near Landau Boulevard and Ramon Road in Cathedral City.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident took place on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on February 28 at around 9:30 a.m.
The incident happened when an electric vehicle and another car collided for an unknown reason in Cathedral City. The two crashed near the intersection of Landau Boulevard and Ramon Road.
2 Cars Collide
One of the cars involved rolled over due to the impact of the collision. The incident knocked a pole nearby and caused a power outage in the area.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the drivers of both vehicles hurt. At least one of them sustained major injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel rushed the patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officials forced southbound Landau to shut down near Ramon following the wreck. The cause of the Cathedral City crash is still under investigation.
