CATHEDRAL CITY, California (Friday, February 26, 2016) – A woman died the other evening after she was rear-ended by another vehicle on the 67000 block of East Palm Canyon Drive. Caryn Clemente, 50, was pronounced dead on the scene, after a a BMW rear-ended her Toyota Camry. Her passenger was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the BMW was also taken to a medical facility, after sustaining minor injuries, according to the Desert Sun News.
The incident took place Wednesday night at about 7:26 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Golden Gate. Ms. Caryn Clemente died at 7:38 p.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner report.
