Lancaster Man, 32, Suspect in Injury Motorcycle Accident Near Jakes Way
Lancaster, CA (October 19, 2021) – Police arrested 32-year-old Cathell Oliver following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on the Interstate 14 Freeway.
On October 17, Sunday, Cathell Oliver was driving a Harley Davidson driving on I-14 in Lancaster. The motorcyclist collided with a Hyundai Accent sedan in the northbound side of the freeway near the Jakes Way overpass.
Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 5:30 p.m. According to the KHTS News, the operator of the Harley Davidson and his passenger both sustained injuries as a result of the incident.
The name of the passenger hurt in the crash remained unknown pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, investigators reportedly determined the driver of the motorcycle was intoxicated at the time of the collision. Police then arrested the suspect for felony DUI, and transported to Central Jail with $100,000 bail.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
