Sacramento Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Auburn Boulevard
SACRAMENTO (August 7, 2017)- According to the Sacramento Bee, a deadly motorcycle collision left a woman and a man fatally injured Sunday morning on Auburn Boulevard.
The collision happened at precisely 2:01 a.m. when the operator of a motorcycle identified as Bobby Potts, 41, of Olivehurst, lost control after traveling at unsafe speeds before hitting a tree off the side of the road.

Both Potts and his passenger, Cathrin Nevin, 39, of Olivehurst, were ejected from the motorcycle.
The crash took place in adjacent to where Heritage Oaks Hospital is located so several workers were able to quickly run over and provide life-saving measures for the two victims, however, it was to no avail as both Potts and Nevin sadly died at the scene.
The Sacramento Police Department will be the agency responsible for handling the investigation.
