Toyota Highlander SUV Involved in Hit-and-Run
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (July 7, 2023) — Caysen Robinson, 20, of Huntington Beach, was hospitalized with severe injuries after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle on the Fourth of July.
A driver struck the young man around 10:25 p.m. on July 4th near Bushard Street and Columbus Court in Fountain Valley, according to KTLA 5 News.
Bystanders helped the injured man who suffered numerous injuries including a broken leg, facial fractures and a heart rupture.
Paramedics were called and transported him to UC Irvine Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.
Meanwhile, investigators found evidence from the suspect’s vehicle at the scene of the crash. They believe the suspect was driving a 2014 to 2019 Toyota Highlander.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information about the case to contact the Police Department’s traffic bureau at 714-593-4481.
