2 Hospitalized After Rollover Crash at Chaney and Gilbert Avenue Monday
Cayucos, CA (April 5, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident in the area of Chaney and Gilbert Avenue Monday.
The KEYT News published an article online indicated a solo-car crashed near the Cayucos intersection. For reasons still unclear, the vehicle with two occupants rolled over at Chaney and Gilbert.
Major Car Accident in Cayucos, April 5
Shortly after 6:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found both the driver and passenger ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics then checked their conditions, and determined they both suffered moderate injuries.
Our sources mentioned a helicopter was called to the scene to transfer one patient. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported the second patient to the hospital for treatment. The names of the injured driver, and passenger remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Cayucos.
