Wrongful Death Lawyer
In this case, there are several questions that need to be resolved in order to determine the liability in the crash. Was the driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs a factor? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Who had the right of way? Did any of the motorists involved show recklessness or negligence at some point?
Once the investigation process is over and it proves that a negligent party has disregarded the safety of others and has led to the death other individuals, the family of the deceased may have the right to pursue a wrongful death seeking recompense for the funeral costs, loss of future income, and loss of love and companionship.
