Santa Maria Woman, 68, Struck by Vehicle in Fatal Crash
SANTA MARIA, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2025) — Cecilia DeJesus, 69, of Santa Maria, died in a pedestrian accident Saturday night on West Main Street in Santa Maria.
According to the Santa Maria Police Department, a driver struck the woman around 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 4th in the eastbound lanes of West Main Street at Russell Avenue.
Paramedics responded and the woman was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center, but she later died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
