5 Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision
DATE OF COLLISION: Thursday, January 3rd
January 4, 2019- According to Fox 40 News, a hit-and-run driver remains at-large after causing a head-on collision last night at Service and Mitchell roads.
The report did not provide a specific time the crash occurred but did confirm that two vehicles were involved.
Authorities reported that the hit-and-run driver only being identified as a Hispanic approximately 6 feet and 180 pounds struck a vehicle carrying five occupants including two children all who suffered injuries.
The two children were attended to by the Ceres Fire Department and flown to UC Davis Medical Center in unknown condition.
Meanwhile, the other three occupants were all injured and transported to hospitals as well.
According to Fox 40 News, the hit-and-run driver immediately fled the scene after the crash and remains on the runs as of Friday morning.
