Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ceres Crash on Southbound Highway 99
CERES, CA (June 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 99 near Whitmore Avenue in Ceres.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred on Friday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 6:14 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Ceres. The two crashed on southbound Highway 99 near Whitmore Avenue and Pine Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the motorcyclist hurt on the right hand shoulder as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced multiple southbound lanes of Highway 99 to shut down following the wreck. They did not mention if the other driver sustained any wound or if they stopped after the accident.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Ceres crash.
