At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Pioneer Boulevard Offramp Wednesday
Cerritos, CA (March 9, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on State Route 91, also known as Artesia Freeway.
Our sources indicated a man riding a motorcycle collided with a semi truck in the westbound side of the highway. According to the CHP dispatch, the motorcyclist slammed into the back of the big rig. The horrible crash took place near the Pioneer Boulevard offramp early Wednesday.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident on State Route 91 in Cerritos, March 9
Shortly after 11:24 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the motorcyclist with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the catastrophic incident remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on State Route 91 in Cerritos.
