Car Stuck Under Semi-Truck on Highway 99/State Route 120
MANTECA, Calif. (August 8, 2024) — A chain-reaction crash happened Thursday on Highway 99 or State Route 120 in Manteca, just south of Yosemite Avenue.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at 9:32 a.m. on August 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officials reported a driver in a white Acura sedan hit a red sedan and pushed it under a semi-truck where it sustained major damage. Two other vehicles were also involved.
Paramedics from the Stockton Fire Department responded to help at least one person injured in the collision, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, the vehicles were blocking several traffic lanes and at least two were towed from the scene.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine liability.
