Channing Paul Seriously Injured in Irvine Hit-and-Run at Encanto and Molino
IRVINE, CA (August 20, 2021) – Channing Paul was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash at Encanto and Molino in Irvine.
KTLA News and My News LA described the woman as the victim of the collision which occurred last week on Thursday.
The incident began when Channing Paul was crossing Encanto at the intersection with Molino in Irvine. Police said for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck her.
Officers reported the accident on August 12 at about 5:30 p.m. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the pedestrian left wounded in the roadway.
Pedestrian Hit by Car
Channing Paul sustained major injuries as a result of the Irvine crash. Her injuries included a concussion, a dislocated shoulder, broken humerus and multiple stitches on her head.
Medical personnel soon rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver did not stop to help the woman and sped away.
They described the car as a black Jaguar XJ with tinted windows and aftermarket chrome rims. The Jaguar obtained damage to the front bumper or hood after hitting the victim.
