Carpenter Struck by Car Driven by Hayden Dolan, 18
VISALIA, California (June 28, 2016) – A 44-year-old woman critically injured after being hit by a car Monday night on Mineral King Avenue has been identified as Charlene Carpenter, according to The Fresno Bee.
The collision took place about 9:15 p.m., just east of Simon Street.
As per the article, Visalia police said Carpenter was riding her bicycle west on Mineral King Avenue when she was struck by a 2006 Dodge Charger headed in the same direction.
Carpenter sustained head trauma and internal injuries and was rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. She was listed in critical condition.
Police said Carpenter is a resident of Visalia.
Meanwhile the driver of the Dodge, 18-year-old Hayden Dolan, was unharmed.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
