Charles Clarke, 47, Killed in Hemet Crash at Johnston Avenue and Yale Street
HEMET, CA (May 24, 2021) – A motorcycle crash at Johnston Avenue and Yale Street killed Charles Clarke east of Hemet.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the 47-year-old Beaumont man as the victim of the fatal wreck on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened when Charles Clarke was riding a motorcycle just east of Hemet. For an unknown reason, he collided with a sedan at the intersection of Johnston Avenue and Yale Street.
Motorcycle vs Car Collision Monday
Deputies said the rider ended up thrown onto the roadway as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found Charles Clarke down on the ground.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. My News LA wrote that the accident took place at about 4:05 p.m.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the driver of the car stopped after crashing into the motorcycle. The motorist stayed at the site and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the fatal Hemet crash is still under investigation.
