1 Killed, 1 Injured in Chino Motorcycle Crash on Norton Ave
CHINO, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2021) — Charles MacDougall, 82, of Chino, died Monday night in a motorcycle accident on Norton Avenue in Chino.
The collision happened about 7:42 p.m. on August 30, according to according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.
Also, a second person riding on the motorcycle suffered undisclosed injuries in the crash. Police do not yet know which person was driving the bike and which one was the passenger.
Authorities report that Charles MacDougall was on the motorcycle when it crashed into a parked car in front of a home on Norton Avenue, just south of Walnut Avenue. During the collision, both occupants on the bike were thrown off it into the roadway.
Sadly, medical personnel pronounced Charles MacDougall dead at the scene
Chino Valley Fire District paramedics transported the injured person to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for treatment, police said.
Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine liability for the collision.
