Motorcyclist Charles Norton, 42, Killed in Homeland Crash on Minton Road
HOMELAND (April 26, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision with a car along Minton Road Friday morning.
Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 42-year-old Charles Norton, of Homeland.
California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Fire Department said Norton was riding a motorcycle when for an unknown reason he collided with a vehicle.
Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Minton Road Near Juniper Flats
According to The Press Enterprise, the accident was reported at around 8:30 a.m. in the 24500 Minton Road, south of Juniper Flats Road.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the site and pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the report did not mention whether or not the driver involved stopped after the wreck. It also did not specify if the motorist was injured upon impact.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
