Man Dies in Solo Crash on 10 Freeway
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (May 15, 2018) — Charles Ray Wells Jr., 35, of Desert Hot Springs, died in a solo car accident early Tuesday morning on the Interstate 10 Freeway at Dillon Road, according to CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters.
The traffic collision resulted in fire after the vehicle crashed in the westbound lanes of the freeway.
White the fire was contained by firefighters, the man died at the scene, according to police.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is overseeing the investigation.
