26-Year-Old Motorcyclist Victim in Crash
ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (June 8, 2017)- According to NBC Los Angeles, Charles Tseng, 26, has been identified as the victim fatally injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday evening.
Per NBC Los Angeles, a fiery collision involving a vehicle and a motorcyclist took place at Mile Marker 32.50.
Video camera footage captured by a phone showed intense flames emitting from the crash site as witnesses and innocent bystanders attempted to provide assistance while waiting for the fire department to arrive.
Per NBC Los Angeles, Charles Tseng sustained fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene following the crash.
Reports indicated that the driver of the vehicle was also injured and transported to a local area medical center.
No details have been provided as to what exactly transpired leading up to the collision.
Based on this news report, it remains unclear as to the whether the motorcyclist, Charles Tseng, or the vehicle driver will be held responsible for causing the crash. There are still several unanswered questions here. Was either driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Was either driver negligent in any other way? We trust officials are looking into these and other factors in order to determine precisely what occurred here and why.
Depending on the circumstances of the accident, the family members of Charles Tseng would be entitled to a wrongful death claim against the vehicle’s driver if it is determined that Tseng did not cause the accident. Meanwhile, if the driver was determined to not have been at fault then they will have the right to seek a personal injury claim against the rider.
