Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Cherry Valley Crash at Jonathan and Dutton
CHERRY VALLEY, CA (April 3, 2021) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Jonathan Avenue and Dutton Street in Cherry Valley.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:56 p.m.
According to their report, the motorcycle rider and a pickup truck collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Jonathan Avenue and Dutton Street in Cherry Valley.
Motorcycle and Car Collision Near Regional Park
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the Bogart Regional Park. They found the motorcyclist who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to the hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the maroon colored truck ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck.
Officials forced the road to shut down after the Cherry Valley crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
