Carmichael Woman, 65, Killed in Pedestrian Accident
CARMICHAEL, Calif. (April 23, 2021) – Cheryl Rogers, 65, of Carmichael, died in a pedestrian accident at Manzanita Avenue and Winding Way in Carmichael.
Also, the collision happened about 8:51 p.m. on April 13th at the Carmichael intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a black sedan struck the pedestrian in the roadway, but it’s unknown what circumstances led up to the accident.

Additionally, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene where they located the victim lying in the roadway unresponsive.
Despite efforts by medical personnel, Cheryl Rogers was confirmed to have died at the scene. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim on their website.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver involved stopped after the collision.
Police closed down the intersection for roughly two hours to investigate the Carmichael pedestrian accident.
Finally, the cause of the fatal collision is still under investigation.
