1 Seriously Injured in Chester Crash on Main Street Near Holiday Market
CHESTER, CA (December 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Main Street in Chester.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 1:30 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at 271 Main Street in the Chester area of Plumas County. They described one the cars involved as a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Holiday Market. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Main Street to shut down following the Chester crash. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
