Man Riding Bicycle Injured in Car Accident
CHICO, Calif. (April 3, 2023) – A driver struck a man riding a bicycle in a Chico car accident on Nord Avenue at West Lindo Avenue.
The collision occurred around 8 a.m. on Monday, April 3rd, according to Action News Now.
The cyclist was traveling southbound and the car was heading northbound on Nord Avenue. The bicycle rider was making a left-turn onto West Lindo Avenue when the driver struck him. There are no traffic lights or stop signs on Nord Avenue.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured bicycle rider to a hospital with undisclosed, non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The Chico Police Department reported the driver stopped and is cooperating with authorities. Furthermore, police do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the crash.
The Chico bicycle accident on Nord Avenue remains under investigation.
