
One Injured in Crash at Hwy 99 and Southgate Lane
CHICO, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2023) – One person suffered minor injuries in a car accident in Chico at the intersection of Highway 99 and Southgate Lane.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the collision at around 8:21 a.m. on Oct. 18th, according to Action News Now.
The drivers of a green Toyota Camry sedan and a gray Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck were involved in the collision.
One witness told the CHP the driver in the Camry allegedly drove through a red light at the intersection and collided with the Dodge Ram who was making a turn.
Paramedics responded and treated the driver of the Camry for minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge did not report any immediate injuries at the scene.
Police continue to work on the case and will determine liability.
