Girl, 16, Injured in Car Crash on Chittenden Road
DATE OF COLLISION: Friday, January 4th
January 4, 2019 – A 16-year-old girl, from Orland, was injured in a solo-car crash on Chittenden Road Friday morning, according to Daily News.
Preliminary investigation revealed the girl was passenger in a truck driven by a 16-year-old Orland boy. The couple were traveling near Black Butte Road when for an unknown reason the driver lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently overturned.

Officials believed the girl was partially ejected during the impact, and ended up being pinned underneath the truck. First responders immediately rendered aid to the victim, and rushed her to a hospital for treatment.
At this time, the identity of the girl and her condition remained undisclosed.
Authorities added the boy suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine precisely what happened here and why.
