1 Injured in Chico Crash on Hegan Lane

CHICO, CA (March 17, 2023) – One was hospitalized after a car crash along Hegan Lane in the city of Chico.

According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on March 16 at around 4:46 p.m.

The incident happened when two cars collided for an unknown reason in Chico. The vehicles crashed on Hegan Lane near the intersection of Fimple Road.

2 Cars Collide

The California Highway Patrol described the cars involved as a red Ford Ranger and a silver Toyota Corolla. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Hegan Lane to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Chico crash is still under investigation.
