3 Hospitalized After Head-On Collision Near Rocky Bluff Drive
Chico, CA (November 17, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Skyway Thursday afternoon.
According to KRCRTV News, a pickup truck and another vehicle collided head-on on Skyway near Rocky Bluff Drive. Police believe the driver of a 2009 Hyundai Accent allegedly crossed over the median into the opposite lanes into the path of an oncoming 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Major Car Accident on Skyway in Chico
Emergency crews responded to the location shortly after 5:30 p.m. Medical personnel found two people from the Hyundai and one from the pickup truck suffering from major injuries. Due to the condition of the victims, paramedics transported all three parties to a hospital for treatment. Personal information on the patients remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident that happened on Skyway in Chico.
