CHICO (August 4, 2016)- According to the Chico ER, a deadly 2-car crash occurred Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Keefer and Hagenridge Roads.
The collision involved a 2015 Chevy Traverse and a 2008 Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Preliminary reports read that an 81-year-old man driving the Chevy collided with Todd Kinney, 44, the driver of the Ford F-250.
The 81-year-old man sadly sustained fatal injuries after the Chevy he was in was struck on the driver’s side. He was identified in KRCRTV as Clark Adams, of Chico,
As per Chico ER, two young children inside the Chevy were also injured and hospitalized, ages 9 and 11.
Todd Kinney was also injured and hospitalized along with his two juvenile passengers, ages 9 and 16.
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials are investigating the incident and have ruled out the involvement of drugs or alcohol playing a factor.
