Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Centerville Road with Wood Chipper

CHICO: Fatal Motorcycle, Woodchipper Accident Centerville Road CHICO, Calif. (June 3, 2019) — A motorcyclist was killed Monday in a collision with a wood chipper vehicle at 12644 Centerville Road.

The crash took place about 10:56 a.m. between China Camp Road and McClure Lane in Butte County.

The California Highway Patrol reported that paramedics responded and were performing CPR on the motorcycle rider at the scene, but the the person died of their injuries at the scene and the coroner was summoned

It’s unknown what led to the crash on this small two-lane highway, but the CHP is heading up the investigation.
