Boy, 11, Hurt in Chico Hit-and-run Bicycle Accident
CHICO, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2018) –Â An 11-year-old Chico boy from suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning when he was struck by a suspected hit-and-run driver as he rode his bicycle to school, according to local news reports.
The child was struck by a driver in a grey vehicle about 7:59 a.m. on Sept. 11. The driver sped off without stopping to help the victim and was last seen heading north on Yosemite Drive at Highway 32.
Paramedics treated the boy for minor scrapes and bruises. Witnesses may call the Chico Police Department at (530) 897-4900.
Hit-and-run Accident Investigation
The investigation into this collision is underway to locate the suspect driver.
