Pickup, Trike Motorcycle Crash on Highway 99

CHICO, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2024) – A trike motorcycle accident involving a pickup truck happened Wednesday on Highway 99 in Chico, near Hamilton Nord Cana Highway and the Thrift Store.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on northbound State Route 99 due to unknown circumstances, according to a report by Action News Now. The motorists involved were a driver in a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup and a trike motorcycle.

Paramedics responded and located the motorcycle rider with a serious head laceration and transported him by air ambulance to Enloe Medical Center.

The other motorist was not injured in the collision, the report said.

The CHP is heading up the investigation into the Chico motorcycle accident on Highway 99.
