Motorcyclist Injured in Chico Crash on East Avenue Near Floral Avenue
CHICO, CA (September 13, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on East Avenue near Floral Avenue in Chico.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 9:30 a.m.
Chico police said the incident happened on September 12 when the motorcyclist collided with the rear of a Nissan Rogue in the city. For an unknown reason, the two crashed on East Avenue near Floral Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The impact broke the back window of the car. Paramedics soon arrived at the scene and then found the rider who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of cuts and bruises. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver ended up unharmed following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of East Avenue to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Chico crash is still under investigation.
