Major Injury Pedestrian Accident on Cohasset Road
CHICO, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2022) – A driver struck a pedestrian in an accident on Cohasset Road Tuesday morning in Chico.
The major-injury crash occurred about 12:03 a.m. on Sept. 6th near Pillsbury Road, according to Action News Now.
Chico Police responded to the scene where they located the injured person and the driver stopped nearby.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and transported the person by ambulance to Enloe Medical Center for treatment if undisclosed major injuries.
Also, authorities closed down the roadway for roughly three hours to investigate what happened, but currently it is unknown what led up to the collision.
The Chico Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is heading up the investigation.
However, authorities do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were a factor.
