Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Chico
CHICO, Calif. (May 2, 2023) – A Chico pedestrian accident happened late Sunday night at Nord Avenue near the Royal Palms Mobile Home Park.
The collision occurred about 10:15 p.m. on April 30th, according to Action News Now.
The unidentified man was reportedly crossing the darkened roadway in the 2100 block of Nord Avenue. An oncoming vehicle struck the victim and left him with serious injuries.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured pedestrian by ambulance to Enloe Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved stopped and cooperated with authorities. Police do not suspect alcohol and or drugs were a factor and no charges were filed.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Nord Avenue.
