1 Woman Dragged Several Feet from Collision Point
CHICO, California (May 18, 2016) – Two female pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle at Salem and West Second streets, according to an article by Action News Now.
The accident happened on May 18 at around 7:00 a.m.
As per the report, two women attempted to cross at the corner of the streets when a pickup truck suddenly hit them.
One woman was dragged several feet from the collision point and she suffered major injuries. The other party sustained minor injury to her ankle.
Both female victims were rescued and transported to Enloe Medical Center for confined treatment.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The names of the involved parties have not been released at this time.
