NIPOMO, San Luis Obispo County (April 21, 2016) – A child was occupying a vehicle involved in an injury collision at Tefft Street and Mary Avenue Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 10:02 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that two vehicles, a white pickup truck and a van, were traveling on their respective lane ways when they suddenly slammed with each other at the intersection.
The force from the impact was significant, resulting in at least one person wounded, as noted in the incident description by the CHP team.
The hurt party was immediately treated by the responding paramedic team for its minor injuries.
Further in the CHP log, a child was reported to have been occupying one of the involved automobiles. It was not cleat whether the child was the hurt party or not.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to gather more evidences and witness statements before pronouncing closure and citations.
