Child Injured in Oildale Pedestrian Accident
KERN COUNTY Calif. (Jan. 15, 2024) — A child was struck by a car in an Oildale pedestrian accident on Saturday, at Beardsley Avenue, near Chester Avenue in Kern County.
The injury crash occurred at around 3:25 p.m. on January. 13th according to the California Highway Patrol.
A child believed to be either 3 or 4 years old was struck by a vehicle under unknown circumstances. Paramedics responded and rushed the injured child to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
Investigators continue to work on the case.
