Lompoc Pedestrian Accident Child Injured
LOMPOC, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2018) — A child suffered critical injuries Sunday afternoon when she was struck by a vehicle, according to the Lompoc Fire Department.
The crash took place about 4 p.m.
Lompoc firefighters and police officers rushed to the scene of the crash in the 500 block of West College Avenue, firefighters said.
The little girl was transported by medical air ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The pedestrian accident remains under investigation by The Lompoc Police Department.

PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Police are reviewing the evidence and any witness statements to determine fault. The investigation will consist of looking at measurements, going over evidence left by the vehicle such as point of impact, final resting positions of the vehicle, skid marks, and gouge marks.
