Juvenile Hospitalized After Collision Near Shadow Hills Elementary
Alpine, CA (August 13, 2022) – A 12-year-old child suffered serious injuries following a scooter accident that occurred on Harbison Canyon Road.
Scooter Rider Hurt in Alpine Accident
On Saturday evening, the juvenile was reportedly riding a scooter traveling in the area near Shadow Hills Elementary. According to an article published online by the San Diego Union-Tribune, a vehicle of unknown make and model struck the scooter rider. The collision took place at about 8:50 p.m.
Emergency crews later arrived at the site. They found the child suffering in injuries. Due to the serious condition of the victim, an ambulance rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment. The name of the juvenile, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, investigators continue to gather information to determine the precise cause of the scooter accident that happened on Harbison Canyon Road in Alpine.
