
Boy Riding Dirt Bike Fatally Hit by Pickup Truck
Arvin, CA (February 3, 2023) – A 10-year-old boy died following a traffic collision that occurred in the area of El Camino Real and Tarver Way on February 2, Thursday.
According to Bakersfield Now, the juvenile was riding a dirt bike traveling in the streets of Arvin. The child approached an intersection and attempted to cross. While in the middle of the roadway, a Ford pickup truck entered the intersection at the same time and hit the juvenile.
Deadly Traffic Collision on El Camino Real in Arvin
The force from the impact resulted in serious injuries to the child riding the dirt bike. Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 4:15 p.m. and immediately rendered aid to the victim. The article published online mentioned an ambulance rushed the injured juvenile to a hospital, where he later sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford pickup truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened at El Camino Real and Tarver Way in Arvin.
