Vehicle Fatally Hits Juvenile on Showroom Place
Chula Vista, CA (May 28, 2023) – A 3-year-old child died following a traffic accident that occurred on Showroom Place Saturday evening, May 27.
The CBS, and FOX5 News reported a vehicle struck a juvenile in the parking lot at 891 Showroom Place in Chula Vista. Pending confirmation, the make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash have not been revealed thus far.
Child Dies at Hospital After Crash in Chula Vista
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 6:21 p.m. When paramedics arrived, they immediately performed life-saving measures to the child. An ambulance rushed the victim to Rady Children’s Hospital, where they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The 36-year-old driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Showroom Place in Chula Vista.
