Boy Riding Scooter Hit by Tesla at Victorville Intersection
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (April 1, 2025) — A driver in a Tesla struck a boy riding a motorized scooter in a pedestrian crash Saturday at Elliot Way and Caliente Road in Victorville.
The traffic accident occurred around 4:04 p.m. on March 29, 2025, according to Victor Valley News Group.

The young boy riding a scooter was reportedly in the middle of the street at the time of the collision.
The driver of the blue Tesla stopped after hitting the victim, the scooter was wedged under the front of the vehicle. The child was thrown onto the car’s windshield and suffered a serious head injury.
Paramedics from the Victorville Fire Department responded and arranged for the injured boy to be airlifted to a trauma center. The helicopter landed at nearby Mesa Linda Park and took the boy to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The Tesla driver cooperated with authorities and an investigation is underway to determine fault.
