CHINO, California (October 28, 2014) – Two drivers collided Tuesday morning on the westbound State Route 60 Pomona Freeway in an injury accident, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported about 8:51 a.m. and was blocking the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway, just east of Ramona Avenue. Those involved were driving a black compact car and a black Chevrolet Aveo. One of the occupants in the Chevrolet Aveo suffered a “broken leg with bone coming through,” CHP officers reported. One of the vehicle also had its airbags deployed following the crash.
The Ontario Fire Department responded with paramedics to assist those who were injured in the accident.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
