CHINO, California (February 6, 2017) — At least one person has died and others were possibly injured Monday morning in a crash involving a white truck and three sedans on the State Route 71 Chino Valley Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 2:59 a.. this morning, just north of Chino Avenue.
The collision was blocking the No. 1, 3 and 4 lanes. Police and paramedics responded and one person was confirmed dead at the scene. Police issued a SigAlert for the crash due to the HOV and No. 1 lane being blocked, but the roadway was clear about 5:41 a.m.
