2 Children Injured in Car Crash at Soquel Canyon and Mindenvale

DATE OF COLLISION: Friday, October 26th
October 26, 2018 – Two vehicles collided and resulted in injuries Friday morning at the intersection of Soquel Canyon Parkway and Mindenvale Drive.
According to Daily Bulletin, a gray Nissan Altima driven by a 37-year-old woman crashed, for unknown reasons, into a white BMW that was at a stop in the area.
Major Injury Crash Friday in Chino Hills
The accident happened at approximately 8 a.m., and emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after. Paramedics reportedly found two children in the Altima—a 13-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl. Officials determined the juveniles were not wearing seatbelt at the time of the collision, and suffered major injuries following the impact.
Meanwhile, it was not immediately known whether the children were related to the Altima driver.
Authorities added the incident also left the 49-year-old female driver of the BMW injured.
The names of all the parties involved int the wreck have not been disclosed thus far. Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine precisely what triggered the crash.
