At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Mountain Avenue
Chino, CA (September 15, 2022) – A truck driver suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 60 Freeway Thursday afternoon.
Multi-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway in Chino
According to the Daily Bulletin, multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of I-60. Earlier reports indicated the crash took place just west of Mountain Avenue.
Rescue teams arrived at the location shortly after 3 p.m. First responders found a truck hauling 30,000 pounds of frozen food, and five other cars with significant damage.
Medical personnel said they rendered aid to the operator of the truck. The article published online mentioned the driver was bleeding because of injuries sustained in the collision. Persona information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on 60 Freeway in Chino.
