2-Vehicle Crash on I-10 Freeway in Chiriaco Summit, Riverside County
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (June 4, 2001) — A Chiriaco Summit car accident happened Friday on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
The drivers of a grey Toyota Scion and a red Jeep collided about 8:29 a.m. on June 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision in the No. 2 lane of the westbound freeway, just west of Cottonwood Springs Road. However, this area is known for heavy traffic and frequent collisions.
Minor Injury Chiriaco Summit Car Accident
Paramedics responded due to unspecified minor injuries, but it’s unknown if anyone went to the hospital. Additionally, the CHP report did not mention how many people were in the two vehicles. Witnesses may contact the CHP.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine cause and liability for the Chiriaco Summit car accident. One of the vehicles required a tow truck.
