2 Hurt in Chiriaco Summit Crash on 10 Freeway
CHIRIACO SUMMIT, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2018) — Two people were hospitalized Wednesday following a solo-vehicle collision on the Interstate 10 Freeway, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash took place about 11:28 p.m. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to the rollover collision and transported one seriously-injured person by air ambulance to an area hospital. A second person was transported by ground ambulance to a hospital for moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

There were very few details provided in the report about what happened. It’s unknown if this crash was caused by a mechanical problem or dangerous road condition. An investigation into whether or not speed or alcohol were factors.
